Super Capacitors v’s Regenerative drive

Traditional system:

Supercapacitor system:

Retrofit capability:

A completely new controller system and significant components would be required.

Very simple, 2 wire installation. Installation is completed in less that 1 hour.

Standby mode:

A traditional system due to the additional VF drive would consume between 20-40 watts.

A mere 3 watts is consumed.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)

Harmonics and consumption are increased during travel.

The system works in DC thus reducing harmonics and consumption at the same time.

Net metering

This traditional system only returns energy to the grid. Subject to net metering contract conditions, not all the savings are received by the client.

This lift is turned into a “self-charging” concept meaning that all energy saved it directly reflected in the electricity bill.

Initial investment

This larger system has a total cost which is significantly more expensive with less savings available.

Initial outlay is minimal, with savings that are available over a significantly longer period due to the product lifespan.
