But there is a caveat. Lifts can utilise solar power but not to totally power them.
Solar panels can be connected to super capacitors that, are in turn connected to the lift. The capacitors then take that solar energy, store it in the super capacitors, then convert it in the correct format to electrical energy, and feed it back into the lift drive system at points of high-power demand from the lift drive.
